A benefit for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Oregon Food Bank, the NAOBF celebrates numerous facets of sustainability. The chemical pesticides and fertilizers used in conventional agriculture are one of the leading causes of cancer, addressed by the work of the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, which helps those suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and The Oregon Food Bank feeds the hungry.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is the world's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Society's mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

Oregon Food Bank works to eliminate hunger and its root causes ... because no one should be hungry. Oregon Food Bank directly operates the four regional food banks serving the Portland metro area, Tillamook and southeast Oregon. Those four centers distribute food weekly to 348 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other programs helping low-income individuals in Clackamas, Clark, Multnomah, Washington, Tillamook, Malheur and Harney counties.

The North American Organic Brewers Festival will be collecting canned food at the gate for this worthy organization. Bring three cans of food and get a discount on your reusable, yet compostable, cornstarch tasting glass.
